I'm here today to give you a sneak peak on my final post. Over the past few weeks I have been telling you about ancient Greece and it's art. With all the information I've been providing you, I'm sure you've been engulfed in everything you ever wanted to know about the ancient Greek style of sculpting.
For my upcoming post, we're going to take things to a whole new level. We're going to see how a couple of up and coming artists of the time came along and taught everyone how to make the statues of the human figure more realistic. Up until that point, the statues looked sort of fake and lifeless. We're also going to talk about friezes. I'm not talking about deep-freeze like where you put your ice cream either. I'm talking about the statues and sculptures on the outside of a building wall. That may seem like a normal thing nowadays, but back then, it was big stuff.
